SSC is Short Service Commission. It is for grade B and C job in the central government. Whereas, CAT and CMAT help you to get a seat for MBA. -
If you're interested to make a career in management field from an elite B-school, then CAT is probably the best deal. Its score is accepted by majority of the top 10-15 colleges, i.e. all IIMs and non-IIMs like SP Jain, JBIMS, MDI, etc.
You can appear for CMAT too, but there are only a couple of colleges under it, so ideally there's no point in giving it.
