Which private engineering college is best for JEE Mains rank 40000 and VIT rank 24000? What are the chances to get IT there?
I want admission in the year 2018, location Delhi, private engineering colleges with good quality and fine placements.

You will get CSE or IT in VIT, Vellore but that too in a higher category that means you will have to pay more for that. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000 so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. The first category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. You should try for any lower branch in nit Kurukshetra (if the branch does not concern you) and if ur rank was screwed by the board then u can try for that college who accepts jee the main score or you can try any other college in Punjab
