    It is one of the most frequently asked question by engineers from all streams.
    I will start from the basics. There is nothing common between Engineering and MBA specialization in marketing or finance. It is more about aptitude and interest because in any case you will have to acquire the requisite knowledge for both.
    Having said this, Marketing is easier to grasp and compete in because not only it is new for all but also, in spite of being complex, it is easier to assimilate and visualize. it is easier to connect and engage with.     Hi,
    You should go for MBA in productions. It also covers the general management during the whole syllabus like finance, HR, excise, supply chain and material management, etc. So, it will enhance your career as you already have a technical background in studies. Also, you can be appointed even as a plant head in future.

    I had done my MBA from LPU with dual specialisation, but as per my understanding based on my practical experience of present market trend, student should opt for MBA (Hons. ). Programme from LPU.     You should go for MBA in productions.     After completing B.Tech in Mechanical you have two option, either you can do MBA or you can do M.Tech in the relevant discipline. So, it is your choice about what do you want to pursue. If you want to open your choices to management then MBA is the best option otherwise M.Tech if you want to enhance your technical skills.
