Which university is better among Amity and LPU?

Hello, Alright so this is an honest Answer for this question. I am not biased towards any of them cuz I have completed my graduation from Amity University (B.Com Hons. ) and pursuing my MBA from LPU. It's only been 4 months since I joined LPU and I can honestly say that it is way better than Amity. And not in the sense of 600 acres campus or Parking area and all that. Here are the reasons why I prefer LPU over Amity From the day one you joins LPU, main purpose of the campus isn't to get your grades high but to get you ready for placement. For that they provide real time interview experience (never happened even once in my 3 years of course in Amity) For each semester, classes of Soft Skills, Quantitative Aptitude are there in course curriculum to improve your personality and not just to make you ready for placement but also for any kind of competitive exams. (not even once in Amity) To improve your English, optional classes for students are organised every Saturday. (In Amity - not once) A lot of live projects, field study, internship, part time jobs are offered in LPU. (a group of my seniors in 2nd year of MBA made 8 Lacs profits from stock market while learning to trade), (a girl from the same group was offered 9lakhs per annum package from some company) I've never heard something like that in Amity like Ever. In Amity, faculty is quite friendly but doesn't pay much attention to the students unless student approach them by their own. In LPU, there is one lecture for each subject every week which is totally for revision purpose beside that they arrange doubt clearing session on request of students on Saturdays. Here in LPU there are people from various cultures and various countries that we can interact and socialize. Even in my batch, 5 students are from Africa and one is a good friend of mine. Now last but not least - In LPU 60-65% students studying Post Graduation have already done their Graduation from LPU only but in Amity, what's the no. ? 5-7%? That should tell you something. So, overall. I will definitely give my vote to LPU. I hope you will take a wise decision too. Good Luck!

Hello! Amity University has its own recognition and LPU has its own. But to say which one is better is a little bit difficult. I have done my graduation from LPU and I found plenty of opportunities and career counseling in LPU. LPU is giving its best to all the students in all ways. The studies in the LPU is different and very approaching. Faculty members are simply awesome and very qualified. They teach us through different methods PPTs, audio, video lectures to improve our skills. I found this technique is very effective to understand the topic very quickly and effectively. We have also career advice counseling in every term. Lots of career organizations are promoted by the university and we are encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. The best thing about the teaching of this course is that it is research-based. The lecturers have done and doing research, and this really improves their teaching. Time to time various events are organized in the university like workshops, Science quiz and many more events which explore the students knowledge so that you can learn your subjects properly. There are various training programs organized by the college, which focuses on project development. One should do training or internship in vacations. The amount of exposure I have received, Im sure None of the engineering graduates anywhere else have received. I have participated in 3-4 international competitions. From academic to activity, LPU is best. LPU is not only famous for its education but also for its cultural activities. They know how to make the balance between the studies and events. The academic agendas of LPU are different from the other universities. LPU gives its major importance to the academic programs and they show special interest towards students in developing them in all the aspects in which the students are poor. University provides the vocations guidance speeches in every term. Lots of career organizations are sponsored by the department and encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. About the placements, the overall placements in LPU are superb. Every year students got placed in different companies on good profile and packages. Due to high placements, then it encourages the students to work hard to avail the good opportunity. As hard work speaks. The alumni network of LPU is excellent and they take care of each and every aspect of their university with better care. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Hello! Both the names are well renowned in the private university sector of India. I am a passout of LPU and honestly that is one decision which I have never regretted in my life. I would like to share my experience with you which will definitely give you a clear picture of how LPU has not only given my career a kickstart but also has helped me evolve as a tech expert in my domain. The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly SEE the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college. During my first year I participated in a lot of live projects and inter college tech fests. Since I was new to application based learning, the faculty was my back bone and helped me at every step where there was a hindrance. During my second year there were a lot of practical classes as well. The computer languages that we learnt as per our syllabus was backed by a very thorough practical learning with our home assignments. This was the time when I also got in touch with my college seniors who not only helped my with my assignments but are also friends for life now. During the 3rd year, there were pre-placement classes and a series of mock tests that helped us prepare for our final placements. We also had a few extra classes which covered industry concepts apart from the regular curriculum. In that year I participated with my friend in a robo war competition in Punjabi University and we came second. That was where I applied my practical knowledge from all that I learnt in jy theory classes. In the 4th year also there were personality development classes which groomed us well and made us ready for our campus placements. All in all my experience in LPU has been amazing and my graduation years couldn't have been better anywhere else. I hope it helps.

It attracts the largest number of students from India as well as 70 more countries. It attracts over 600 companies to campus for recruitment. It attracts most number of companies from fortune club. It has the largest and most state of the art campus in India. It has the largest hostel facility in the country. It has the largest number of Ph.D. faculty in the country. It places the largest number of students every year in the country. It runs maximum number of programs. It is LPU. No need to compare! DVD.

Hello, While my friend completed his B.Tech. From LPU, my brother pursued his graduation from Amity. I have many stories to tell about both the universities, having heard them first hand. But lets just stick to some quick ones - My brother keeps complaining about the efficiency of the faculty at Amity. Half of the times the lectures get cancelled. I did not hear any such complain or experience from my friend at LPU. He had good professors who guided and mentored him through out. When it comes to placements, I don't think I will have to point it out. Everyone knows that LPU is known for its placements, because it works on improving the students skills. LPU works towards practical exposure, guided learning and all-round development, which gives the students an edge in placements. This leads to students getting better placements at LPU in comparison to Amity. When it comes to campus, obviously LPU has a better campus. I guess everyone has seen their campus videos and the exciting college years you can have there. My friend did have fun in the huge campus. Talking about reviews from students and its alumni, education portals will give you the best picture like Shiksha, etc. If you check the reviews of these 2 institutes on Shiksha, LPU has a 4.2 rating on 5 while Amity only has a rating of 4. Above were some points which I think any student will consider while selecting any institute/university right? After all, once in college, your first priority will be to get a decent job. And to get a decent job you need good faculty and mentors. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

I believe LPU is better Than Amity. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th among the other universities for its placement records.

Tafheem, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students.

Hi Tafheem, After getting various recognitions by external agencies now MHRD tells the nation very loud and clear in NIRF rankings which depicts clearly that LPU is miles ahead than Amity. # more than 650 big brands visit LPU to happily recruit the Industry ready candidates. # some Big brands MICROSOFT INDIA has recruited LPU student at the package of 42 LPA. # their curriculum development at after every 6 months are the key feature which gives immense learning to the candidate to become completely Industry ready. # I must say it is only LPU which gives holistic and inclusive growth to the candidate.
