It is a UGC-approved university which has been ranked well by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices, etc. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Dear Saezy, Both are good, but I cannot share placement details of Nirma University with you as I am not much aware of this university's placement. But being alumni of LPU I will share the same with you about LPU. LPU made a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Engineering- Rs. 42 LPA Management- Rs. 21 LPA (SOBHA Developers) Design- Rs. 36.5 LPA (SIXT India) Agriculture- Rs. 19.25 LPA Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA Internship Stipend- 80,000 per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. Right from Google to Apple, students of LPU are working worldwide. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication, presentation skills, and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect to polish your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews.
