The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire etc. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, SAP, Microsoft etc. So that updated curriculum is provided. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Hello, Lovely Professional University is better than others in terms of Placements. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking any interview is a cake -walk. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those. Campus placement at Lovely Professional University has always been a sought after event for the final year students. Division of Career Services sets up recruitment drives and job fairs on a regular basis. Apart from this, it also extends abundant facilities such as resume writing sessions, career advisory services, and aptitude development workshops to proffer better placement to the students. Industry leading companies, every year, come to Lovely Professional University to participate in recruitment drives. Placements are administered by a team called Division of Career Services. Dear Davinder, I am not familiar with the placements of Nirma University. However, being alumni of LPU I can share the placement record of LPU with you. LPU made a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Engineering- Rs. 42 LPA Management- Rs. 21 LPA (SOBHA Developers) Design- Rs. 36.5 LPA (SIXT India) Agriculture- Rs. 19.25 LPA Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA Internship Stipend- 80,000 per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) Right from Google to Apple, students of LPU are working worldwide.
