Which university is better for B.Sc chemistry (Honours)- Sharda or LPU?

Hi Vaishali, I think Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison. A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. LPU is much better for pursuing B.Sc. Chemistry. This programme mainly focus on the learning of fundamentals and advances in all areas of chemistry for correlating concepts with the scientific happenings and deep rooted concept building in budding chemists to harness their potential in research and higher studies. From campus to faculty, everything is of top level here. Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM, IHM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. LPU provides lot of opportunities to the students in the way through seminars, workshops, national and international level competitions. If we talk about Placements, University provides placements to students in top companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Federal Bank, HDFC, etc. Moreover, grabbing good placements is upto the students. Hi Vaishali, I guess Sharda University is good for Medical Science programs. But apart form Medical Science programs there is no comparison with LPU. Every college is doing well for their students but there are various parameters, on which we have to focus while selecting a campus. As per my point of view, Lovely Professional University is good to pursue this course. Rest, you can visit websites for your survey. A) LPU has world-class infrastructure in terms of Labs, Experiment fields and the latest machines for performing hands on practices.C) LPU is a research oriented university as recently many international conferences happen in the last couple of months and scientists and eminent researchers shared their knowledge with students. D) In terms of placement, LPU is the best in the region due to their industry oriented courses and tie-ups with more than 700 companies E) Well experienced doctorate faculty helps students to understand the concepts in depth. The recent visit of Prime Minister Narender Modi in LPU to addresses the 108th Indian Science Congress for new research and innovative ideas. Now LPU has established an innovation studio and satellite programme with ISRO where students of different branches working together for skill development. This is what LPU is. Faculty is really helping. Even they helps after regular university hours for projects. Courses offered: They have ample of courses and also provides specializations. Placements: University provides with opportunities and it is up to the students to grab it. LPU brings in lot more companies (apx. 450+). It’s up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. LPU provide different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get job.
