Which university should I choose for automobile engineering, UPES or LPU?

One of my friends was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major points I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in the core company as well as a software company. Other than participating in different events like go-kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world, etc. Practical-based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every eligible student for good placement. LPU is rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, and Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill. Apart from their placements, LPU also provides rich support to its students to focus on their entrepreneurship projects that can help the student set up their own businesses. Every year, a lot of championships and competitions such as Go-Kart are organized in the university for giving a platform to students for innovation and development. In 2019, when PM Modi visited the to university for addressing the Indian Science Congress & a driverless car & was designed by the students to drop them from the helipad to the main venue. Students will develop competence in automobile engineering. The student should have 60 percent aggregate marks with Physics Chemistry and Maths in class 12. The best thing about the programme is that the student can opt for engineering minors, open minor, study abroadand can have career pathway, industry interface, undergraduate research. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. As far as the highest salary package for the last batch is concerned it was 9.55 LPA. 4.26 LPA is the average salary package of the Batch. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains). For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates, Defence Personnel and their Dependents and Wards of Kashmir Migrants. However, if a Candidate has 85 or more percentile in JEE (Mains), then LPU NEST is exempted. LPU organises various workshops and seminar and competitions for the holistic development of the student in the field. LPU International Go-Kart Championship is a global student challenge with a mission of encrypting students from top colleges for engineering with technical as well as practical knowledge of manufacturing a go-kart. SAE NIS EFFI-CYCLE is an intercollegiate design competition where team of 6-10 students have to design and fabricate an energy efficient Hybrid human powered electric vehicle. A dynamic approach in which students explore real-world problems and challenges to solve Minor Projects, Live projects and Design Problem challenges.

Hi there, being an alumnus I would like to share some of the crucial points of Automobile Engineering: Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. Eligibility: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The chances of you getting placed at a company solely depend upon you and not on anybody else for that matter. There is no set package that you receive after graduating. Job is used to sustain yourself while doing what you love. It isn't like that you provide money to the college to spend 4 years and after that, you get a job. You are getting educated and universities are not some job agencies so stop looking at a degree like that. Anyways, LPU gives great placements to capable students of automobile engineering. PLACEMENTS: The latest package availed by students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme is 6LPA from Delivery. The majority opt for Teaching/Research.
