The courses offered by the university are B.Sc, BA, B.E, M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Techetc. BHU gives admission on the basis of entrance exam. The MTech programme at IIT BHU Varanasi is one of the school's most popular opportunities. This programme lasts 2 years, broken up into 4 semesters. The results of candidates' performance on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam determine their eligibility for M.Tech programs at IIT Varanasi. A CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60% overall for General/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS are requirement for candidates with a BE/BTech/MSc or comparable degree.
