  • The NEET PG syllabus is prepared by the National Medical Commission but it's released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

    • NMC is the regulatory body that oversees medical education in India. They establish the guidelines and broad framework for the NEET PG syllabus.
    • NBE is the autonomous body that conducts the NEET PG exam. They develop the NEET PG information brochure, which includes the detailed subject-wise topics based on the NMC's guidelines.

The Medical Council of India's Graduate Medical Education Regulations are followed in the subject areas included in the NEET PG syllabus. The Medical Council of India's syllabus is available for candidates to refer to; however, NBE does not provide a word-for-word prescription for the NEET PG syllabus. The majority of the disciplines and topics covered in the NEET PG syllabus are covered in the MBBS course. Overall, clinical, pre-clinical, and para-clinical disciplines make up the NEET PG syllabus. The NEET PG syllabus aids applicants in organising their exam preparation.
