    Placement opportunities : The college has a placement cell that offers on-campus and off-campus drives to help students get placed in good companies. The placement percentage for BE/BTech courses is around 70-80%. 

    Industry exposure : The college offers training programs and workshops to prepare students for the industry. 

    Course programs : The B.Tech. in Information Technology programme offers skill development and project development programs in the latest technologies.

    There is no such difference between B.E. and B.Tech. at RKGIT; they probably provide only the B.Tech. course. The following might be the reasons for the B.Tech. course is highly in demand at RKGIT.
