The placement at BIMTECH is decent with an average salary ranging from Rs 6-10 lakhs. Also, BIMTECH will give you good exposure in all aspects be it from the faculty or industry experts and make you work towards an all round development.

By XIME I think you must be talking about XIME Kochi because XIME Bangalore is any day better than BIMTECH. BIMTECH is a much older institute than XIME Kochi which has been recently established. It would give you better exposure and is an at a much better location than XIME.
Talking about placements, a slowdown has been observed in the placements because of demonetization but placements have been in full swing with good companies like KPMG,EY, Mahindra coming to recruit students. -
Both are very similar in terms of placements so you should look for location, fees and curriculum.
