Will I be considered OMS or HU? I have completed my class 10th from KV – Mumbai, 12th from KV – Delhi and BE from University of Mumbai.

Hi Prakhar, You have a good chance to secure a seat through the CAP rounds as last year the cut off for MET MMS seat was 93 percentile. But that is the DTE process. So you will have to apply for the CAP round process. And well yes , since all your education was done in Mumbai you will be considered as a home university candidate during the CAP round process . I would request you to go through the DTE website for their procedure for CAP rounds this year . Because last year when I applied for the CAP rounds I did not have GD PI . It's only if you opt for a PGDM seat , you will have to appear for the GD PI Round. And yes it is mandatory for admission to PGDM course at MET , the forms are on sale so you can purchase it online or you can personally come to the college campus and collect the same . I would suggest to be on the safer side you apply for PGDM course as well, be it at MET or elsewhere too . Finally if you get an MMS seat you can always withdraw your admission from and college that you have secured your PGDM admission from. However some percentage of the fees would have been charged as penalty which you would loose in the bargain. MET for finance is decent enough. The average package is around 5 lakhs. If you prove to be extremely good in academics then you stand a chance where the company might be willing to offer 6 to 7 lakhs too as their salary per annum .
