Will I be eligible for IIMs after scoring 99% in CAT 2016 ?
I have completed my graduation in June 2015 but had a backlog in my 5th semester for which I have to appear in August 2016 & I had a 55.3% till my 4th semester and 53.5% in my class 12 & 37.5% in my class 10.

Yes you are eligible for attending GD/PI of some of the IIM's if you get a call from them. IIM's consider different criteria such as CAT 15 score, Xth and XIIth marks, Graduation marks, work experience etc. in shortlisting candidates for the GD/PI. It is different for every IIM. Once you get shortlisted then at the time of interview you should give them a perfect reason for your backlog and you should assure them that you will clear the backlog before joining the IIM to make into the final merit list.

One thing that you should know is that CAT is not the only thing considered by IIMs. In fact there are colleges like IIM Indore, whose shortlisting criteria includes only 21% CAT weightage. Rest includes factors like your tenth and twelfth marks, gender, etc.
