No. Its all about what you do in MBA. You got to participate in competitions and certified courses. -
Some companies have predefined criteria for selection process. So you might lose some chance there.
Whatever you marks have been, it is past. You can't change that.
A typical resume has 10th, 12th and graduate marks in first 3 lines. These 3 lines won't matter much if what follows after that is worthy of a recruiters attention. Since you are working in a PSU Insurance Co, you must be opting for finance as a stream. So start looking at share markets, derivatives, M&A. Read and analyze annual reports. Do CFA levels and any other course. Do part time/full time internships not only in finance but also in marketing, sales, operations, etc....more
