Will there be any issues if I do a year of preparation and then take admission in a UG course? Will gap affect me in any way?

    No, there will be no issue as such. For technical UG courses students usually prefer to enhance their score if they won't got it just after 12, but for non-tech UG courses students usually get admission in the same year as well.
