answer me as soon as possible...can i join any reputed college like iit ...nit o somethn..after my diploma in mechanical engg?..

You can not join directly either to IIT 0r NIT, if you are interested you have to write entrance examination IITJEE for IIT and AIEEE for NITs and if you get the good rank in entrance examination than only you stand a chance to get admission in the first year.
