any easy trick to find square of numbers of the form a5?

lets say we need to find the square of a5. the last two digits will be 25. preceding these last two digits is the number obtained from the expression a*(a+1). e.g. square of 25 last two digits are 25, preceding 25 is 2*(2+1)=6 hence answer is 625
