Appearing for 10th grade IGCSE exams so after 10th can i take a diploma course or i need to take HSC degree study if i want to study in USA

I hav plans to go to USA after 12th grade. right now I am interested in computer engineering.so can i get admissions in USA universities if i am in the 2nd year of diploma course or i have to study for HSC-science now that is after 10th grade?
