GATE score card is given above qualifying marks which vary branch to branch as well as for Gen, SC, ST & OBC categories. Usually, for general category it is around 30 marks and top 50 candidates score above 750 marks.

Civil Engineers are also best suited for Project Manager roles in Infrastructure sector. Infra is growing leap bounds and has managerial job opporunities in companies like L & T, NCC Ltd, etc. If you are wanting to do researhc or teaching, then MTech is good not beneficial otherwise to a great exten

Every student receives a GATE score which is associated with two points, i.e., valid time period and qualifying marks. Your score is only valid when it is above or equal to the score of qualifying marks.
