Applied for IELTS in GT module. I have good hold over English & prepared well for exam but Unsatisfied by score. Is marking Region specific?

I have heard that scoring good in IELTS is more probable if applied in Punjab region. You have an edge over others who have lesser command in English. I think it might be true as I scored only 6.5 in spite of 'Good' preparation when in Delhi. Is marking region specific? Please HELP.!

Such tests should be as scientific as possible, though they may not be cent percent accurate in evaluation. Sometimes, problems may exist in the writing part and you check whether you could have lost track somewhere.

HI Agendre, It not like that. Marking is standard all over the world. Many a times, it happens, the examiner or the person who is taking your speaking or reading test, might have some variation. Normally, it is one and the same. So please appear again, if you are not satisfied.
