Approach to prepare well for GMAT

Hi, Can you please suggest what should be the approach to prepare for GMAT. I'm planning to appear for the test in August so that I'm eligible for applying for the session starting next year (Fall'12). Would you recommend any coaching center? Thanks

for self study mode, try out GMAT official guyide or may be princetons review. for verbal, try out norman lewis followed by GRE Barrons 3500 wordlist. for quants, a conceptual book like RS Agarwal will be sufficient.
