Architecture interests me but my parents are forcing me to take engineering. What should I tell them?

    Hi Parv,
    Architecture is Engineering! In fact it is one of the core engineering streams.
    Explain this to your parents. A lot of things interest us. But, more than interest you should find out whether you are good at it. If you are good at it then go ahead and explain to your parents. Or tell them to at least let you give the entrance exam. Score high in it. Then it'll be easier to make them understand. Crack JEE and take up B. Arch. at an IIT - which I guess your parents treat synonymous with "engineering".
