Are 16 years of education required to apply for Masters in the US through distance education?

I graduated with a B.Sc IT degree in 2015 and want to pursue a Masters in the US. Can I do a Masters course here in India through distance education to satisfy the 16 years of education criterion before applying to the US? Is the distance course accepted in the US?

If you are planning to apply for Masters in IT, you can go for MCA from IGNOU or any other universities. Since, it is a technical degree, universities abroad may not accept distance learning, so it's better that you go for a regular Diploma. Best would be to write to the universities and take their guidance.
