Admissions are based on both enterance based and merit based .

Admissions at CAIIHM (Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management) are primarily merit-based just for certain courses. Some entrance based courses are B.Sc., Diploma, MBA, Professional Diploma, and Executive Diploma. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, such as Class 10 pass or 10+2, and the marks obtained in these exams. The institute offers a range of programs including B.Sc. in Catering and Hotel Administration, MBA in Hotel Management & Catering Science, and various Diploma courses in Hotel Management
