Charotar University of Science & Technology admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university offers various programmes across several fields and specialisations. For certain courses, the university accepts candidates on an entrance basis. While for admission to the remaining courses is through merit basis. For admission in Charotar University, one has to appear for entrance exams. Different exams are conducted for different stream. If someone already appeared in JEE then they need not to appear in entrance exam. In Higher education, students must obtained 50% in PCM.

GUJCET entrance exam is conducted by GSEB ( Gujarat Senior and Higher Secondary education Board ).
