Are admissions at D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur entrance-based or merit-based?

<p>Admissions to D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur for the MBBS program are entrance-based. The selection criteria are merit-based on the basis of NEET UG scores. The MBBS seats are filled through common counseling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for deemed universities.
