At the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions, Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering admits students only on the basis of merit. For admission to its certificate programs, the institute does not administer a specific entrance exam; instead, candidates are chosen based on their previous academic standing. The institute offers merit-based scholarships to its students in addition to having a completely merit-based selection process for certificate programs.
