ICRI Pune admissions are primarily entrance-based. The institute selects candidates based on a written exam conducted by the institute. Entrance exams are an integral part of the selection process, conducted to judge the knowledge of the candidate which is based on Quantitative ability, Communication, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, General English & Aptitude Test.

Admissions at ICRI Pune are primarily entrance-based. For the MBA program, the selection is based on the scores of entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, or an equivalent exam. The eligibility criteria include a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university. The selection process involves a written test, group discussion, and personal interview conducted by ICRI. The minimum eligibility for the MBA program is a 50% score in graduation.
