Are admissions at ISDI - School of Design and Innovation entrance-based or merit-based?

<p>ISDI admission is based on merit and an entrance exam called the ISDI Challenge. The ISDI Challenge consists of three parts:</p><ol><li>Portfolio or Design Project</li><li>Design Aptitude Test (DAT)</li><li>Online Interview</li></ol><p>Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in these three components. The weightages are:</p><ul><li>Portfolio/Design Project - 40%</li><li>DAT - 30%</li><li>Interview - 30%</li><li><h2>Merit-based Admission</h2><p>For undergraduate programs, admission is primarily based on merit in the qualifying exam (Class 12). Candidates with higher marks in Class 12 have a higher chance of admission.</p><p>Candidates first need to fulfill the eligibility criteria:</p><ul><li>Pass Class 12 from a recognised board.</li><li>Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class 12.</li></ul><p>Eligible candidates are then called for the ISDI Challenge. After clearing the ISDI Challenge, admission is granted based on merit.</p></li></ul>
