For admission to the MBA program, the institute accepts results from a variety of entrance tests, including the CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT. The institute takes into account the candidate's academic standing in their undergraduate degree exams in addition to their success on the entrance exam. As a result, admission exam results and academic merit are combined in the Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology MBA selection procedure.

The admission process for Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT) is both merit and entrance-based. For BBA admission, it is based on merit in the qualifying examination

However, for other courses like MBA, candidates need to score a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation examinations to be eligible for admission

Additionally, candidates who have not appeared for any national entrance test need to go through the entrance exam

The entrance exams accepted by MIMT for MBA admission include CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT

The selection criteria for MBA admission are merit-based on the qualifying examination and entrance exam scores
