<p>Admissions at Raiganj University are merit-based for most undergraduate and postgraduate courses except for the MBA programme which requires an entrance exam score.</p><p>The eligibility criteria for admission to both aided and self-financed programs are the same and certain reservations are followed for admission to aided courses.</p><p>The university prepares a merit list based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the final admission is granted after the counseling procedure, document verification and fee payment.</p>

<p>The MBA admissions process is entrance-based, based on information found on Raiganj University's official website. The university will administer an entrance exam to candidates, and the candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the exam, their interview performance, and the verification of their documentation. To be eligible for the interview, candidates must pass the entrance exam with at least 50% of the possible points. With the exception of the MBA programme, admission to all UG and PG courses offered by Raiganj University is determined by the results of the qualifying exam. The qualifying exam scores are used to create the merit list, and those who make the cut must show up for an interview and document verification.</p>
