Are admissions at Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences entrance-based or merit-based?

Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences admissions are primarily entrance-based. However, the selection for Diploma programme is based on merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. RAJUVAS considers NEET-UG score for admission to BVSc and ICAR AIEEA (PG) for MVSc programmes. For PhD admission, aspirants need to qualify ICAR AICE-JRF/ SRF.

Entrance-based RPVT: A competitive admission exam for degree programs. To be qualified, candidates must pass a qualifying exam. RPVT filled 610 Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) seats in 2023.
