For B Tech programs, admissions at SOA - School of Aeronautics are determined by entrance. In other words, applicants are accepted on the basis of how well they score on the School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test, or SOACET. Written tests covering mathematics, physics, and chemistry are called SOACETs.
Twice a year, in January and April, the SOACET takes place. Typically, the exam is administered using a computer.
