    Admission to SIT is based on merit. The college conducts an entrance exam, called the SIT Entrance Test (SIT-ET), for admission to its undergraduate courses. The SIT-ET is a computer-based test that covers topics such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English. The college also considers the marks obtained by the students in their 10+2 examination for admission. 

    For admission to its postgraduate courses, SIT considers the marks obtained by the students in their bachelor's degree examination. The college also conducts an entrance exam, called the SIT Postgraduate Entrance Test (SIT-PGET), for admission to its postgraduate cour
