RNS Institute of Technology admissions are currently open. Candidates can apply on the official website of the institute for their preffered course. The selection for RNSIT courses is based on entrance exam score. The institute accepts entrance exams such as Karnataka PGCET, KCET, KMAT, etc. for admission to specific courses.

Yes, the admissions are open now for the session 2023-24 .

The counselling process for COMEDK and KCET are over now. Though you can expect one special round but it depends on the seat matrix availability.

Further you can  apply from management quota too. In this, the fees will be quite more than the actual but you will be enrolled directly without any entrance exam. For further details about management quota and fee structure I have already answered another question. Do checkout that too.

The requirement for KMAT score varies course-wise. Aspirants with a valid score in KMAT can get admission in MBA or MCA programmes. However, it is not compulsory to have a KMAT score for admission. Aspirants can also apply for MBA with Karnataka PGCET, CMAT or MAT scores. Candidates seeking admission in MCA can also apply through Karnataka PGCET scores.

While deciding between RNSIT and CMRIT, look at their overall profile. Both institutions have good placement, but higher salary packages were reported by CMRIT with a maximum of 16 LPA by VMware, while it was slightly lesser for RNSIT at 7-8 LPA. Both have similar infrastructure, but RNSIT is usually picked for its placement situation and the facilities. Both academically are well-known, with CMRIT having a slightly better student rating of 4.1 against RNSIT's 4.0. Finally, the decision rests on your preferences for placements, infrastructure, and academic reputation.
