Are B.Sc students eligible to pursue MCA?

Hi, BITS MCA Entrance Exam 2019 Eligibility Aspirants must have one of following qualifications:Bachelor of Computer Applications BCA orB.Sc. In Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics, orB.Sc. With Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level. Applicants with above mentioned qualifications should have secured a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average in graduation. So, if you have these subjects then you can apply. Thanks!

Hi, MCA eligibility: Any graduate who has passed or is appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (science, commerce, arts, engineering or any approved university) is eligible to apply. Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

Eligibility of Master of Computer Applications [MCA]: Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from this there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree, one must have studied mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.
