The definition of selective may differ for different people, but it is far easier to get into executive MBA program, especially when compared to full-time MBA programs in the same institutes. Yes, they are very selective and they judge the candidate on the basis of his work experience and aptitude for management. Besides, the seats for Executive MBA are very less and therefore, not many candidates take admission in it. Not all the colleges offer executive MBA course. The most reputed one

Executive MBA is of a shorter duration and the admission process is simpler to that of regular MBA. Work experience of minimum 3 years is a must for Executive MBA program. Many institutes also don't have an admission test for allotting admissions.
