No, B tech Graduates are not eligible for the UGC NET Exam. Eligibility Criteria: Students who have secured at least 55 percent marks in a Master's Degree or equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science, Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Are eligible for the NET exam. The OBC belonging to non-creamy layer, SC, ST, and PWD category students who have secured at least 50 percent marks in a Master's degree or equivalent examination are eligible for the NET exam. 2 years agoB.Tech students are not eligible for the UGC NET Exam. They must be qualifying or qualified for their Masters. But on the good note, you can apply for CSIR NET which gives the same job opportunities as UGC NET to the qualified candidates.
