Are B.Tech. placements at Silicon Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar good?

Most roles offered are software engineers, and some sales roles are also offered here. Core companies are also coming, like Tata Power, etc.Among the 2021-2025 batch, 90% secured internships. Core roles offered in this field involve RTL coding using VHDL, test bench creation, and simulation. Core sector placements have shown growth, reaching 19% in 2024. Around 75 core companies participated in 2024. Internship opportunities have risen to 272 in 2024.</p>

<p>In general, placements at Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar are very good. The institute maintains a very high placement rate in which almost 90% of the students get placed. In some batches, 100% placement records have also been achieved. The approximate salary package for B.Tech graduates is about INR 4-5 lakh per year, and as recently reported, packages as high as INR 28 lakh-33 lakh per year for certain years, depending on the year and specific roles offered to the students.<br>All these big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Amazon engage their resources in Silicon Institute. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which allows students' experience in internships and the job placement.</p>
