Board entrance marks do not take for admission for CUSAT (engineering), but there is a minimum criteria for board marks. You should have at least 50% marks aggregate & also in physics, chemistry, and mathematics to be eligible for CAT examination.

    Hi there,
Thapar Insitute in Patiala has come up with an opportunity for people who haven't appeared for entrance examinations. You can apply through two criterias. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. The institute has just opened this application form.

I think you should have a minimum of 60% aggregate to get admission in any college in any branch of engineering across the nation. If you have scored 60% marks you are good to go.
