Are both of my certificates valid? Can I use them at the same time?

I completed my Diploma in mining engg. from CSVTU, Bhilai as a regular student during 2014-17 & passed it in July 2017. In March 2017, I also appeared in 12th board exams of CGBSE, Raipur as a private student and passed it.
