are certificate courses and diplomas offered by delhi university beneficial?? if yes then which one should i opt for..

Yes ofcourse they carry a value in the job market. You can choose the course based on your previous qualification or on the basis of your personal interest or inherent flair you have. For example you can do it in Journalism.
