Basic computer skills would be helpful if you have them, but they will not be essential for students embarking on the DMLT course. Many students learn to use the lab software, data entry systems, and reporting features during their training and practical experience.

With many labs now using electronic systems based in computers, a comfortable approach to working with computers can improve both efficiency and employability. Even if you do not start with great computer skills, you will develop the knowledge and experience needed for the job.
