are cost accounting and charted accountancy similar? and if not then what is scope for cost accounting futher?

Dear geetika,cost accounting is one of the subject in CA,by doing CA u can do costing but u ll not called cost accountant .there is another course named as ICWA which means Cost and works accountant.Cost accounting related to cost of any prodect, cost accountants also engaged in budget making etc.

no Chartered accounting is related with financial accounting and audit and cost accounting related with cost calculation and pricing. Cost accounting helps you in reducing the cost in an organisation.
