Are CSE students eligible for ECE placements?

Yes, CSE students can sit and get placement for companies coming for ECE, but not all. You are eligible for the ECE placements, but some companies add restrictions on the same. This happens not for ECE only, but in many branches.
They have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the company.
If a student is pursuing CSE, and he/she is good at Electronics&Communication and is eligible, then he/she will definitely sit and crack the placement of that company.
For example, Intel is a chipset company, related to ECE, yet the company allows CSE students to sit, and give assessments and interviews. -
