Yes, EMTs can work in emergency rooms (ER's) and may be able to help with patient stabilization.
As for level I ICU roles while some may be available to EMT's, ICU is usually the dominion of nurses and other health professionals with native skill or advanced training. EMTS primarily assist with patie
