Their role is to record sounds and then polish them with the help of processors and digital tools. in the modern times, studios are becoming obsolete due to the developments in the music technology and instruments sector, hence a person can just sit at home and conduct a recording or edit and mix as software have taken place of the big and expensive equipment of a studio, but Film And television production still use superior and ultra-modern studio facilities due to the quality of production it demands.
