C will be most receptive of your profile since, they don't look at GPA of grad School for others. I am not so sure.

Being part of extra curricular activities will sharp your personality, speaking, listing and understanding skills which do matters in long run. So go for that but also focus on your studies too.

These two are completely different streams. Through IIMS, you can go for a management role and via IIT you can get into technical roles. Do some introspection and identify what interests you more and what you want as a career. Also, when comparing new IIMS with old IIMs, the new IIMS surely have a long way to go but the alumni of Rohtak (I can speak only about Rohtak) are going places and we are getting excellent opportunities here. So, a decent placement won't be a problem and there will be lots of exposure as after all it is an IIM.

I would say it is good to involve yourself in extra-curricular activities but don't take them into consideration as far as the admissions are concerned, but they will help you in resume making.

Hello, this year people who got 80 percentile got a call from IIM A B C, rather than students who scored 99 Percentile. See, CAT doesn't want 99 percentile, they want overall personality. As per recent trends, student who have strong extracurricular gets highest chance of conversation.
