Are food technology courses only for science students?

I am graduated in Arts degree. Can I choose food technology as a career option?

    Not necessarily, students from any stream can study Food Technology. However preference is given to candidates who want to pursue post graduation in the field of food and technology pursue their graduation in food and technology field or bio-related fields. You may consider doing a diploma firstly before pursuing or masters. Hope it helps.

    Eligibility Criteria for the same is:
    You must have completed 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream. Physics Chemistry Biology Mathematics, or Home Science must be the subjects you choose. The minimum qualified marks from recognised or accredited institutions are usually 50%-60%. You must have a B.Sc. Physics Chemistry Biology or Mathematics) or B.Tech/BE in Food Technology with the minimum qualifying marks to pursue a postgraduate degree.     Yes, good technology courses are only for Science students.
    10+2 education completed in the Science stream, from a recognized educational Board. Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology/ Home Science as the main subjects at the 10+2 level. Thanks.
